Digital BABA

SRI NURYANTI is currently a member of commissioner of the Indonesian General Election (KPU). She used to be a political scientist as well as a political researcher at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences(LIPI). Her main areas of academic interest are democracy, good governance, political parties, elections and minority issues. She has worked at KPU for one year, showing her dedication and knowledge of local electoral politics. Mrs. Nuryanti was awarded the Asian Public Intellectual Fellowship in 2001 and the Japanese Society for Promotion of Sciences Fellowship in 2005. She was a member of the BABA retreat in 2007.
