International Centre Goa hosted the third Building A Better Asia:Future Leaders’ Dialogue from 16-24 February 2008. The theme for the 2007-08 retreat was – “Building the Common Good in Asia” and focused on issues such as Economic and Social Disparities, Promoting Social Security, Sustainable Development, Participatory Mobility, Capacity Building and Efficient Governance.

We had been told, that the Gandhi Commnunity shelters around 2000 people, including persons with active Hansen disease. Some of this patients with sequelae live with their relatives in the community.
